Time-shift!

Wooaah. Suddenly it's July 2005. Hope you haven't suffered whip-lash in this massive leap in time. Not updated for a while (mainly because I'm quite a lazy person). I'm going to try harder to update more often.

Since I last updated my Mum has ben given the all clear from her cancer and has been in remission ever since - obviously a big relief for everyone. I completed the next year of my Italian course, but cannot find anywhere that does A-Level nearby so I am taking a year off to do beginners Chinese course instead! Everton have qualified for the Champions League for the first time in their history subject to a qualifying round tie (possibly against the red shite!) - well done Davie Moyes! Vicky passed her driving test and we now have a lovely P reg fiesta. My mate Rich has had his stag do at a paintballing place in Bawtry and is getting married in August on the back of an elephant in Sri Lanka! Vicky and my friends MIG and Matilda are buying a house together and Michelle is seeing a nice chap called Matt (yes, another one).

Today we woke up at half one and realised we'd slept for 12 hours! Going to play cricket in the park later with MIG, Matilda, Mich and Matt. Seeing as though Matt plays cricket for a local team "daaaan saaaath" I expect he will win by around 175 runs. I'm aiming for a comedy out by hitting my own bails with one of my shots.

Making a cake this week for work. Apparently our team is considered the quietest in the department so management have decided we are to do some more fun stuff. As well as taking it in turns to bake cakes, we are re-introducing the "tacky holiday present competition" that will run until the end of the year (i bought a plastic blue toy gun in the shape of a t-rex from Chester Zoo last week). Also taking it turns to bring quizzes into work. Not sure if it will help the demoralised members of the team, but at least they're trying.

Hoping to go on holiday this September on a teletext holidays deal. Were also supposed to be going to Prague this year with some of Vicky's work colleagues and Michelle and Matt but not sure what has happening with that now.
